This Friday, the banner installation team did their rounds and visited 180 light poles to install the artwork of 6 artists, 8 countries per artist, 48 countries in total. My FB post, announcing it
Artists: Dan Colcer, Jessica Molina, Hatziel Flores, Selina Mize, Daisuke Okamoto, and Adriane McMillion.
My countries were: Belgium, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, Switzerland, Paraguay, and Scotland.
While the project is for the hosting period of FIFA, the campaign is called the International Culture Showcase. Here are some links to the news coverage: Fox News 4 coverage, Fox News clip from evening news, WFAA New 8 coverage, WFAA youtube clip.
I am excited to share my designs below. Each ORIGINAL PAINTING is 24″ x 48″ and will be available for purchase at the Deep Ellum Community Center, located at 2528 Elm Street in Deep Ellum (just east of Downtown Dallas) for the duration of the “big soccer game”, the Worldwide Celebrated International Soccer Showcase, or whatever we need to call it. I appreciate anyone who loves my art enough to seek it out and show patronage.

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with the game producers or event. I love soccer, and was hired by Deep Ellum Foundation and Visit Dallas to make these artworks part of the welcoming campaign.
Stay tuned to see the next FIFA related piece, a mural for Sweden!
